Employment Change

Employment trends have remained stable over the last 10-year period, with employment loss in the manufacturing sector being offset by new company openings. 

Unemployment rates have fluctuated from 5.2 - 7.6 % with the current average rate around 6 1/4%.  As a result there remains an available skilled labour force in Woodstock, ready to meet the needs of new and expanding employers.
